When I read "Divine Rivals", all I can think about is how much we are related to "Iris," the main character in this novel. In many moments in this book, she has proved to us how strong and smart she is and that she always tries to prove to others that she can reach her goals.

At some point, she lost herself when she had to deal with the grief and all the dark emotions that were trying to swallow her hole and take away the only thing she was passionate about: her writing. But in the end, she discovered that she needs to find herself, even if she puts herself in danger, and go to war to tell the truth about what is happening in the war. To tell the world what their leaders have been keeping from them and the secrets they've been keeping and the lies they've been feeding them so that the people don't discover what's really going on behind the curtains and obey the rules and keep their mouths shut. So many people who know the truth find a way to take advantage of the situation and gain money and power from it. while the others waste their lives and get separated from their loved ones because they are blinded by the truth.

So, because of that, she writes in her articles not only the truth, but she also shows others how the soldiers feel every minute of every day in the battel field and how the family feels when they lose their child to war—a war that they didn't even start, but because they have to protect their country, they have to fight.

We have all wanted to discover ourselves and, most importantly, find a home. It doesn't have to be a place; maybe it's someone or something, or maybe it's a feeling that makes us feel complete, like a piece of a puzzle that was missing.
