Every once in a while, when a human is born, an angel and a demon get picked to become connected to a human so he can know the difference between right and wrong, good and bad. But year after year, an angel started to see that the world was changing every day. She tried to always speak the truth to her person, and sometimes he does answer her and do the right thing.
When her person meets his end, she waits to get picked again to be bound to another person, and every time her person doesn't listen to her, one of her feathers of her wings fall to the ground, meaning she got defeated and lost to the demons once more.
She saw over the decades people get killed, tormented, kidnapped, and raped—not just women and men but also kids—and she couldn't believe how this world became so cruel and chaos was spreading all over. People got greedy; they wanted everything for themselves, and they didn't care if the others got hurt in the process; they only cared about themselves.
She begged and pleaded for a solution, not just for herself but for everyone. but she got told that it's not their problem and humans will only listen to the angels and demons.
When her wings only had a couple of feathers left, she couldn't fly anymore, so she didn't get picked anymore. Part of her was relieved because she wouldn't see all the horrible, barbaric things she witnessed over the decades. But part of her was always trying not to think about the lost souls that got killed for other people's greed and cruelties. She listened to the kids' souls screaming, who were scared of the afterlife; she shouldn't care; it wasn't her problem anymore, but she couldn't. She thought about every feather that fell from her wings when the humans made the wrong choice and the people that suffered from other choices.
So, she made a decision and told them she wanted a new role; she wanted to be the last thing someone sees when they die that will guide them to the afterlife. Maybe she could help the kids find their parents souls and move on to the next phase. And maybe she could torment the selfish people who choose the wrong way because of their greed to have everything; they thought they could take their filthy money and kill those innocent souls in the process, so she will be the last face they will see before hell takes over them, and finally they will get punished for their crimes. She will put each time a face, one for the good and one for the bad. They thought hell was scary. Wait till they see the angel of death.
